We stayed in the Nuthatch cabin, it was extremely good, clean. They are maintaining rooms very well, especially the environment where this resort located is good. I loved it! Winter is best time to stay here... with fog, night time lights and a good company in the woods.. Thanks to Waco Creekside Resort!

This is just a BEAUTIFUL place! We met friends who camped and we opted for a cabin. Both are HIGHLY recommended! The ambiance is incredible! From the lights on the porches to the detail of decorations is impeccable. We stayed in the barn swallow which was the perfect set up. Candles, coffee, design … just perfect! My husband went fishing and even caught some nice bass and blue gill! It was also an easy drive to Magnolia and all things Chip and Joanna. But honestly, I could have just stayed at the resort!

We parked our RV then we walked around the park. The treehouses looked really tempting. If we are ever in Waco w/o our camper, we'll book a treehouse! They have created a magical space in a random field outside Waco. The staff was friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night, but I wish we would have stayed longer.

Waco Creekside is a relatively new park, so nearly everything is new. The laundry room, bathrooms, hookups and store are all first class and really well kept. The park is easy to find and big rig friendly - we have a 43ft coach pulling a car - however leaving the park will require some planning as the exit is tight between the gate poles. The hookups are super easy to use and include a second sewer connection spaced out for those who need two. My only complaint with the park is their water - it is terrible and tastes like some weird chemical. Even the management admits this but it's county water and not much can be done. Internet service is very good with wireless towers placed all over the park. We did not use or go inside any of the cabins, but they look super cool with most of them lifted off the ground and surrounded by trees. The staff is extremely courteous (so rare these days) and very helpful. The manager is quick to respond to texts. Downtown Waco is only 20 minutes down the road and I-35 is less than 2 miles away. There is plenty of room to take your dog for a walk around the park with a generous amount of dog stations located throughout. Lastly, the sites are level and really well maintained. We highly recommend this park. Hint - if you're in a class A or C, ask for sites 1-12 as these are level and look right at their pond in the middle of the park.

It's about 2 miles off I35, so you don't get the highway noise. We only stayed 1 night, and the office was closed, but a very nice campground with cement pads, picnic tables, a very nice firepit, and pull thru sites are very easy to access. Unfortunately, it rained shortly after our arrival, so we didn't get to explore but will definitely make this a stopping point next time we're in the area.

We booked a treehouse for our New Years Weekend. We stayed in the Bluejay and we couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. The grounds were outstanding, as we enjoyed just walking around the property. Very clean and well kept. 15 minutes from Waco and we went there to explore and spend the day. We will be booking a cabin again.... it was fabulous!
